The Department of Commerce with Computer Applications (B.Com.CA) was established in the year 2006. It focuses on the application of computers in business. It provides training in the area of commerce, Accountancy and Computer Applications.
Teaching – learning process is considered as an interpersonal skill which requires knowledge and information in and out of the classroom. Frequent interactions with industries has become indispensable for effective education in the commerce stream and curriculum has been designed in accordance with the industrial standards. The “Dynamic” Association of commerce students organizes Guest lectures, Seminars, Symposiums, Conferences, interaction with corporate and Educational tours. It trains the students for better placement, encourages them to present and publish papers at National and International level seminars. Special coaching for professional courses like CA, ICWA and ACS are provided. The department shows a tremendous development in its strength and the faculty members are well qualified in their respective subjects.
The Department of Master of Commerce with Computer Applications (M.Com.CA) was established in the year 2012 and was also upgraded as a Research department from 2012 onwards. M.Com.CA is a high profile postgraduate programme that aims to create competence in career and equip the students to become global accounting and management professional. The programme expects a serious commitment of student to take up challenging study schedules and assignments. The course involves a blend of theoretical education and practical training which runs concurrently for a period of two years and equips students with knowledge, ability, skills and other qualities required for a Professional Accountants, Teaching Professionals, Auditors, Financial Advisors and IT Professional etc.
