Mrs. Dhanalakshmi Jayachandran, a philanthropist who does huge benefactions for the upliftment of downtrodden classes of people in the society. Her ardent interest in Hindu Doctrine led her to start an Educational Trust in her Guru’s name as Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya Trust. The School was started in 1980 to give the less privileged children English medium education. She is the pioneer to start ‘X’ Seed program of iDiscoveri-Delhi, for students from classes I to V and Edurite classroom system with digital boards for classes VI to XII, thus making the school world class in teaching technology. Apart from the field of education, being deeply interested in religion she is managing a 400 years old Perumal Temple. In the year 2008 she was confer with the “Life Time Achievement Award” by the Lions Club International, Coimbatore.
